Scope of the Position


The Sales Executive will enable Diversey to grow its healthcare market share with targeted end users. This individual will be responsible for generating profitable market share growth by delivering solutions to targeted healthcare end users The Sales Executive will demonstrate their understanding of key end user and sector needs as well as their expertise of applications. This person will collaborate with end users to determine the best offering of products and solutions; they will collaborate with the channel to ensure effective delivery of products and solutions to targeted end users.




  • Sales Planning - Create a sales, profitability and growth plan for the assigned geography that identifies how to drive profitable growth with existing and potential healthcare end users.  Plan inputs should include opportunity list (war board), clear understanding of Diversey offering, target account list (play card), assigned corporate and regional account locations, understanding of each account - including KPI's, current situation, key stakeholders and needs analysis; plan outputs should include a plan by end user, including products, programs, pricing and potential solutions that can be used to drive territory growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Grow and Maintain Existing Business - Collaborate with current Diversey Healthcare customers and distribution to profitably deliver value and new solutions, to measure and communicate results of solutions, and to ensure a high level of satisfaction, growth and customer retention; engage customer in communication to ensure that all new needs are understood and that the customer is aware of the value delivered.       
  • Demonstrate application expertise - Demonstrate and apply skills that enable the effective demonstration of Diversey products, programs and solutions.  Understand and be able to clearly articulate the value of products, programs and solutions to end users and distributors.
  • Administrative Duties - Complete key administrative tasks such as pricing, rebate and promotion coordination, management of marketing funds, customer relationship and activity reporting, budgeting, travel and expenses.





  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required (Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred)
  • 2+ years of outside sales to the Healthcare industry
  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel 25%



  • Healthcare sales experience preferred 
  • Experience selling disposables (consumables) or capital equipment
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Ability to design, track and measure key performance indicators
  • Proven record of results
  • Ability to build relationships and identify needs at multiple levels of the user organization
  • Sales experience through distribution 
  • Sales or key account management experience; demonstrated the ability to coach and motivate others
  • Business to business experience and a proven record of results, including experience working with distribution
  • Strong business development skills
  • Ability to integrate the user's needs and Diversey offerings to determine the best solution for the end user
  • Business and finance acumen to negotiate with larger customers, adjust to trends and deliver profitability improvements
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Computer savvy with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, CRM knowledgeable
